I've done both, more my real name in google though, I get a bunch of math and chess competitions and results. Real personality = 1, hope of having a non-nerdy personality = 0

I only do it because I forget where I am in conversations, so I do it to make sure I don't forget to respond to someone. I flit in and out of conversations and threads rather actively.
