This year we will be taking heroes and not heroes from books. Some may have been made into movies but that is.not a requirement.

I'm taking "not heroes from books" to mean characters from books that are not heroes.

The idea is that all characters have their origin in a book. Novels actually. Mostly cause I know bupkis about manga and comics.

 

Also Rand was correct in that nominated characters might not be given to the person that nominated them.
