It can get -30 here but that usually only happens a few days each year. Last winter there were almost no snow but the winter before we had snow for five months. I love snow.

I was in Norway this year in may. There was a week it was like 30+ outside :D I was walking in the fjord i touch snow at

30+ it was amazing :D I love snow.. It gets cold enough here but the snow just wont come :(

I was up in the north in the mountains some years ago. There were still snow there in the end of June.

Last year was the first time I really experience a winter. Or snow. It was awesome. i would randomly kick at it as I walked along. It really brought out the kid in me...well, more anyways.

Buffalo winters, lake effect snow... yeah, it can get bad here. Typically it doesn't get worse than -10 F, with the average being about 10-15 above. Thankfully, I live in the northern burbs, where it isn't as bad in terms of snowfall. The city tends to get hit worse, and the parts south of there get socked really hard.

LZM, how long have you been boarding?

 

I don't live in a place where it snows much, so I only get to go a couple of times a year (at most). I only started boarding when I was 9 (so 12 years ago), but I was skiing from 3-9, so the transition wasn't too difficult.

Hmm... now that I'm thinking about snowboarding, I can't wait to move to Colorado. I can snowboard EVERY WEEKEND!

Ive only been boarding a few years. Really exploded last year though.
