It's not a mafia game.  It's a game of logic and deduction.  There is a crime that is committed, every player is a logical suspect.  The job of everyone is to gather clues (some the players reveal as the game plays out, some the mods give as evidence from the crime scene) and decide who among them is the killer.  There is no voting at the end of each round or anything like that; each round just introduces new information and new intrigue.  I hope you'll join us, Wildfire.

Hi I've got some questions about this

 

First and foremost, can I even participate if I'm not a member of the WT or whatever?

Is this going to be anything like a game of mafia? How do you play this exactly?

Will it be a requirement to roleplay the character that you're given or can you just be yourself?

Hi Nolder!  Of course you can play if you're not a WT member.  The game will be on the main Tar Valon board--which everyone should have access to.

 

This is not a mafia game.  Rather it's a game of deduction and logic.  Each player is given a character (which you don't need to roleplay; that's optional).  Each character is a likely suspect in Egwene's murder, so the point of the game is to gather clues, put them together, and solve the murder.  New information will be revealed each round, so the further into the game, the more narrow your suspicions become.  None of the players are eliminated; everyone makes it to the end.  After the final round, everyone votes on who the culprit is.

 

It should be quite fun; I hope you join in!
