About the boon - technically, WF was right to deny a boon because you are given answers to questions by the Finns. Answers aren't really a boon, are they? So that didn't tip me off because I didn't equate answer to boon.

I think we used the word boon in the same way we would the word wish. The Eelfinn in the Tower of Ghenjei grant three wishes (or boons) and were accessible through the twisted redstone doorframe ter'angreal from Rhuidean . (I think Mat was the one who figured out you had to use your 3rd wish to get out of there safely.) The Aelfinn are the ones who answer the three questions truthfully. They are accessed through the redstone doorframe ter'angreal located in the Stone of Tear. Subtle differences make it so much fun to create a mystery!!!
