WoT Movie Casting

I agree with Dar, I think Tyne Daly would be a great Cadsuane.

I also think Susan Sarandon should be Setalle Anan, while Meryl Streep is Selucia, or honestly, I can see her as Graendal. Grrrrrr!

(Don't judge me ...lol)

I can't see Nyn's original post, I'm just going on comments. Is there a better link Nyn?

Perrin would be the hardest because of that build. I have never actually seen anyone to fit. Definitely not Ryan Reynolds though. Face just doesn't fit.

Mills is right, that would be a farce. I might could see him as Mat, but never Perrin.

What about John Krazinski as Perrin? Or if not him, the actor playing Pete on The Office?

I can really see Meryl Streep as Graendal. I've been wracking my brain trying to think of someone to play Perrin.  My boys and I have gotten into this discussion several times and have even seen that video before.  My youngest is of the opinion that all the major characters should be played by unknowns.  I pretty much agree with him although I can't think of a good way to say it.  It's something along the lines of why some actors who've played the same character for a while (think Harry Potter) get typecast and have a hard time finding different roles.  Does that make sense?

That being said, I just love sitting and wondering which well-known actors would be best to play which characters.

I know it seems a little out of left field, but I think David Tennant would make a fantastic Asmodean.
