I never turned 30. I was in Australia so turned 28 again.

 

Of course the following year I jumped straight to 31.

 

I don't like it when you suddenly jump up to an older age group in online surveys/forms etc.

I had that when I ticked over to 26+. Most of the 'young' peeps are considered 25 and under apparently.

I remember Kate began using the word 'sommat' all the time instead of something and all her friends looked at her like she was a total mentalist.

 

Also that show - the Mentalist.

 

The title does not have the same meaning over here and makes me laugh every time. Unless it's actually a deep sub level context and it's priming us for the fact that the hero is also the main protagonist and thus IS a total mentalist.

About soccer. Our recent game is a travesty. The score is so embarrassing that I thought a team couldn't lose by that much! It's a complete and utter farce  if you can imagine a football pitch overran with stray dogs children standing on the sideline crying for mummy and breastmilk squirting everywhere. An utter utter embarrasment. But well they tried that's all I can say about it. I didn't play as couldn't find the time for training.

I used to be left wing striker when I played back when.

Crap. That means I've kind of got a deadline for getting the editing done.
