Anuthing that is performed on a computer is performed through those and nothing else. Thats your addition subtraction division and multiplication of comp sci.

Eh its just that the fact that the numbers arnt measurable makes me personally uncomfortable. Ive been told its a really weird problem to have.

There are more things in Heaven and Earth, Darthe, than are dreamt of in your Turing machines.

Also, qubits > bits

It's not weird at all imo. The ancient Greeks had a similar wordview. All of their mathematics was based on geometry. Every number they thought of as being a measure of a spatial quantity, such as length, area, angle, volume, etc. Because of this, they didn't really have a concept of negative numbers or number system bases. This of course limited them from using certain analytical tools, but they were great mathematicians and engineers. They did put a lot of store in pi and phi though, and since those were defined as ratios of lengths, they have no units.

Lets not even.

Well good thing im working towards becoming an engineer then huh?

Please.

Calculus is fun. It was the first time in my life that I felt like math could actually have practical application and not just be a random hobby.

Thats how I feel about physics and I feel its much more accurate.

*** is a mathematician ***

I'm pretty sure we can keep the cindy away by more math talks. Might be worth a shot.

really?  I did not know that about you!  That's wonderful, we have so many mathematically inclined people here

Physics without calculus? That's like a movie without color.

As we are all doing lessons, I thought I would correct your spelling ...hehe

FOR INFO:

If you have a night action, I do not mind you changing it. I meant to say this before. Night ends when all night actions are in or after 24 hours. If all night actions are in and you change yours then there is a chance it may not be changed. But that is unlikely.

You have 14 1/2 hours left until day

Also, I find it highly amusing that in order to emphasize the British spelling, Talya used a "color" tag.

Resistance is futile.

But that is no help...I would like a model that would come up with how to calculate who is mafia, or if I'm mafia who is doc and who is cop, lol

The foolproof method is to look over the mod's shoulder when she creates the player list.

I used to be more into probability theory and LDT (large deviation theory) for a while. I started my PhD in Lattices of Subgroups but I never got to finish it.

Mainly done some teaching (but now I don't do that anymore either cause teachers have horrible pay here in Hungary). Now I'm programming surveys and do some datawork for a market research company.

My math is rusty.

Well, ther's horrible pay and horrible pay. Standard teacher's pay here is about 120.000 HUF (500 USD) a month.

I get close to twice as much this way.
