I want to ask you folks of how to go about rolling a game a game of mafia in the mafia, if you know?

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking here GF lol

I think the Band would rock the thing at such a think.

Though in this game suddenly people are divided and they are instructed to go for the win, for themselves or the team, I don't know I want to suggest this to the band.

So are u suggesting hosting a mafia game here?  and going for the win is second nature to the Sarms  so its not totally unthinkable.

Yea, well throwing in out there. :) I haven't hosted one though so I'm not sure I have the experience needed.

thats probably the biggest problem  we dont have many members who do have that experience. I think AJ maybe but thats it

I've never modded a game, personally.

 

I've played in a handful, but I wouldn't call that hardcore experience compared to some on this site who have been playing for years

I have modded and can answer questions about running a mafia game on the main boards if you have specific questions.

Okay.....explain exactly what a mafia game is and what it entails? All I know is what it's called....never seen/participated in one myself....

a mafia game is wher u have two sides. Town and Mafia. Good and Bad.  Occasionally they will throw in a third.

 

Mafia KNOW who the town are but not who has what roles. Town players usually only know their own roles.  You "lynch" people you find sus. Mafia nightkills people.  One with the majority at endgame wins.  thats the very basics.

 

there are also roles, some are mafia some are town  like Doc  Cop Godfather Roleblocker etc.

 

Imagine you are standing in front of someone trying to decide if he is lying to u. now do it with out being able to see him. Thats mafia

A thread requiring lots and lots of activity from all those involved.

I feel like the Band could only do that if we joined with another Org to make sure there was enough involved - I don't think we have enough active here to pull it off at the moment, but it does sound interesting....and yet still somewhat confusing

I don't know if it would get enough even if we did it with another org. The boards that do mafia already have trouble getting enough players. Even before that was the case as much as it is now, mafia on another board that doesn't regularly do it has had even more trouble because it's one more game competing for attention with all the others that would normally be going on.

I think it need a cult with a chance of winning.

And we need to just be there at the general board for this

We must not compete with what other

I'm otherwhisie lousy, whether I'm in it or not, but it has to have cult and cult can win
