LOL

This one is Liitha's:

Birgitte and Gaidal lays dead on the floor. Beside them are a pool of water and glasshards. The furniture has all been moved to the side of the room, and its raining outside.

Explain?

Birgitte and Gaidal are both fish, and their aquarium fell on the floor while their owner was moving furtniture across the room?

You are so right - I think that's the only explanation. Great job Cloud! Although I am just guessing that you are right

Well done,Cloud, 1 point for you!

Let's try one more from our lovely Liitha:

A few novices jumps into the moat, a few hours later they are all found dead!

Explain?

  • Author

Good way of thinking - there used to be, now it's a tiny droplet left, so?

Well they jumped in and couldn't get back out. They were probably seriously injured from the fall and by the time they were found they had died.

  • Author

It was a very hot day (don't read if you are before book 4)

after the Dark One touched the world and scorched it

so the moat went dry and the Novice didn't think of leaving a rope, so they died at the bottom from heatexshaustion.

1 point for RTE.

Let's try another and I promise no one dies - I am feeling good... for now

A man is looking at a clock that shows the correct time, but he doesn’t know what time it is. Why not?

  • Author

No, he is not blind

Cindy, calm down, we could kill the clock at the end

Is it a broken clock that just happens to be showing the correct time at the time?  Consequently, that is the source of one of my favorite sayings.

  • Author

The clock has regular arabic numbers, it is working propperly and in plain sight, so our man can see its face.

  • Author

Yes and he is dyslexic + colour-blind

Sorry, I couldn't help it.

No, RTE, he is a normal person.

Is it the correct time but for another timezone? Thus he wouldn't know what time it is where he is.
