BlueCon 2013: TV Shows Discussion

Featured Replies

I don't really watch TV series any more.

Shows I tend to watch now are:  Alaska: the last Frontier, Yukon Men, North Woods Law, Boston's Finest, Monsters inside Me, Untold Stories of the ER, etc.  Stuff like that.  I also watched Vikings this year and am waiting for the next season to come out (next year, I think).  From the previews I've seen, I'm not going to be happy with Rollo.

When ER first came out, I used to watch it every week but I just don't have the energy to dive into anything right now.  If I miss one of the "reality" shows I watch (see above list, less Vikings, which isn't a reality show! LOL!), I know it'll be on again an hour after it aired, or it'll air again the next week just before the next new one.

I don't watch regular television much anymore - like from a cable box.

I watch on my Roku, and I just stream from Netflix, or Hulu Plus, or Amazon Prime. I don't buy many DVD's of movies anymore - and just get them on Amazon, so my whole library is there to just instantly stream.

I like being able to watch shows when I have time - which isn't usually when they are on. The only shows I watch on cable are Criminal Minds, NCIS, and NCIS LA - I can watch the NCIS shows on demand, but the only way to get Criminal MInds is to record it on my DVR if I miss it. the NCIS and stuff I can watch on demand, but not on Hulu or anything either - so I really only have cable for a few shows anymore.

I  my Roku! I got it from my Mom for Christmas like 6 years ago - best Christmas present ever!

We don't have a DVR any more. We turned it back in and went with the cheaper cable box.   I'd heard of Roku but haven't had time to research it yet.

We like medical shows like Untold Stories of the ER and House. I use On Demand and watch Ghostwhisperer. I like the criminal shows too but don't watch often.

Friends keep telling me to watch Orange is the New Black. Does anyone here watch it? Like it?
