I'm a member of a medieval reenactment group. The first thing i tried was archery of course. Problem was that the first two shots earned me a 15 cm bruise on the arm because i could hold the flaming thing well enough.

 

So now, i'm part of their infantry where i fight with two daggers (i'm still as strong as a shrimp, so broadsword are not made for me).

 

Who would have known that in real life, infantry would suit me best ?

Oh and I had some of the nastiest bruises from using a bow without an arm guard. Makes me want to cry thinking about it! I feel your pain! Lol

I tried archery once....with plastic bows and arrows at church camp.....we were all terrible at it lol
