I got all four of my wisdom teeth taken out at the same time. A year later my husband had FIVE wisdom teeth taken out (apparently he had an extra - gotta love it when everyone in the oral surgeon's office gathers around the x-rays going "well how about that! "

I got through just fine with a few days of being cautious about what I ate, and using the little syringe to keep the food particles out of the sockets while they were healing up.

My husband tried to drink through a straw too soon and got dry socket. >.<

They didn't give me a syringe thingy.  I think I'm already clotted up nice and tight though.  Tomorrow I can start gently brushing.  I actually a couple small chunks of chicken tonight.

And I apparently can't sleep.  Kinda cool how your hubby had five wisdom teeth.  Woulda been cooler if he had something more useful though like a fully functional appendix.

or a purple extra set of arms

Sometimes I pop into the last page of a thread I'm not following and wonder what the heck is going on because out of context, posts like Chae's above, for example, are highly amusing. XD
