Results from Race 4 - Andobi Mountain Run

 

It was getting more difficult. The Racers were getting tired and that meant they made mistakes. The cold weather also didn't help. Tina was in her element though, like a queen she glided effortlessly through the ice and snow. A detour sign caught her eye:

 

 

She'd always wanted to go there and so she instinctively turned. She was feeling confident ... right up until she saw the giant snow plow blocking the path and then KABOOM!

 

Andrej saw her turn and laughed as he heard the explosion. There was no way he'd get fooled by something so OBVIOUS. He scorned the road sign that someone had hastily placed in his path.

 

 

Aliens? This is Star Wars - they're everywhere. Like he was going to be worried about little grey men. Confidence is a preference - until a blue beam of light sucks you out of your pod and a pair of big black eyes and a large probe come into view. His pod skidded out of control before crashing into the side of the course and Kaboom!

 

These signs were a menace. Hallia managed to steer around AJ's pod and was in the lead! Oh yes - this was going to be easy. But wait ... what was that?

 

 

SHE HAD TO DESTROY THE RING! POOR MR FRODO!

 

And so she turned and fell straight into a lava pit. Hiiissssssssssss. She was toast, or maybe second breakfast.

 

 

Tina, Hallia and AJ have all been Stealth Killed

There was no time to ponder the deaths of the other racers. The next race was on.

 

Dethro's Revenge was a podracing course on Ord Ibanna and the fifth race of the Galactic Podracing Circuit. Dethro Glok designed the course without many sharp turns. Racers with great top speed and decent brakes fared well with this course.
