What a extra time from USA and Belgium the most exciting of the world cup. Unlucky someone had to lose, but USA can go home proud they kept going until the end and gave everything. If England had showed half the fight as the yanks we'd still be in this cup. Tim Howard was great, as a Evertonian its good that our goal is in safe hands.

Another great Keeper performance, another extra time battle. USA were valiant in defence it was unfortunate that they lost the way they did, they were too worn down and Belgium's superior talent took the match.

But Tim Howard, brilliant.

What was really impressive is that down 2-0 and clearly exhausted the US had enough belief to not only get 1 goal back, but to just fall short of getting a second. Howard was just amazing. Good luck picking the best goalkeeper of the tournament. And that free kick combination by the US... that was brilliant. Also Lukaku is just a beast, the second coming of Drogba.

So, apparently Tim Howard has made World Cup history making a record number of 16 saves in a match against Belgium.

Speaks for itself really.

As a general comment, I am enjoying for the most part the intensity of this World Cup. It has been unpredictable and really a tournament where the small-status teams have shone, even when defeated, almost every team has made it tough for their opponent, not to mention the massive upsets that have happened.

I was so incredibly disappointed with Besler.  His two (three really) horrible, inexcusable mistakes led directly to both Belgium goals.

15 minutes left between costa Rica and Holland before pens the way the costa rican goalkeeper navas is playing, they would be favorites if it gets to pens.

Didn't have any subs left.

thought so, the game was that dull the last sub must of happened one of the times i was trying to rip my eye balls out.
