I challenge myself to finish my first novel. Currently at 130,000 words, a bit over half way, I'd say.

 

The thing is...work...which basically means I need to dedicate at least one full day each weekend entirely to writing (with the prep done during the preceding week).

 

I reckon if I can do that, I'll finish around September.

 

That will give me 3 months to do a first edit run through by the end of the year.

 

It's a long shot, but why have small goals, right?
