(I was converted by my house mate when I did one year of music between high school and uni... He was French horn obsessed.. Apparently it was contagious...)

Le sigh. I can't wait til i live in a house again.... Haven't put horn to lips in just over two years. When I am able to practice at home again, I can't wait to at least get into community theater, maybe a band or orchestra. I am finally un-burned out and listening to this is making me itch to play again....

Lip and face muscles... they are fine tuned to the instrument they play and whenever you try to play something else you may hurt.... Sometimes it's worth it though....

mhm... All musicians who play wind instruments, whether they be woodwinds or brass, have well trained facial muscles and lips....

I have my trombone that I haven't touched in 6 years. I'm sure I'll be great.

I have a mate who plays flute and trumpet.  does that mean his face isnt well trained or is he in pain when he plays one? lol

Maybe he's just doubly trained and talented....

nah, there's some space between both houses, so it's all good. And it's less noisy now that we have installed new windows everywhere last year

you broke the windows???!!!!  i dont think i wanna attend a gig of ures now lol

well, the old windows were not of very good quality and we lost too much heat there in winter. So, we changed them, and the front door, last year.

 

Never broke a window yet while playing (maybe some eardrums, lol)
