Yes, I don't take a bond lightly. It's better to take your time getting to know someone and "creating" a bond before it's formalized here.

I sincerely hope not! Bondings are not supposed to be entered into lightly or frivolously.

As long as I've been here, I've only had one formal bond and my bondee (souvra) is no longer on DM. 

 

I feel I do have several bonds; however, they are all informal. I'm almost afraid any other kind will jinx them! LOL!

There's a very interesting thread in the greens somewhere about what bonds mean to people. I think they've done it more than once. Bonds are all unique and personal and meaningful, whether you have just one or more.

 

I think it's BFG who has a lovely quote about it being impossible to measure how much love a heart can hold.

Agreed. I love the people I've gotten to know thus far, but very few I feel close enough to bond formally.
