or if you mean check how things are going, he never did on-screen; some chance that he did at least once off-screen.  not entirely sure when that would have been, but it could have been almost anytime.

actually  it was Loial's mother, grandfather, and Erith; near the end of chapter 21.

That's right. Because he new that Loial was with Perrin, but did not know he was on the march......facepalm, but hilariously funny when I saw them again with them grumbling about it ;)
