The Big White Book

are you

kidding me?

have you hacked our messenger accounts?

great lord of the dark, that is correct and I am baffled.

It was a bit of luck, but it is easy to narrow down things with the number of letters in each word. A phrase with that sequence of words is pretty specific, so it can only be a few things.

This one is harder, could be a lot of things.

I'll go with A.

Edit: I have an answer, I won't guess yet, but if I get it right, I had it before it got letters :P

- A - - / - - / T - E / - - A - - - -

(the rules don't prevent the person who correctly guessed the last puzzle from starting guessing on the next one - everything is reset with a win)

(I didn't get it right, but might have got 3/4 of it)

the rules do prevent you from

guessing twice in a row in the same

puzzle.

we made a

rule change a couple pages back. I'll try to find it and repost it

rule change

***you can't guess twice in a row. you must wait until someone else guesses before you can guess again - that includes guessing the whole puzzle after you have guessed a letter, and is regardless of whether the mod has tallied your guess.

thank you ***
