Just a little background...

A good friend of mine had been telling me about TWOT for several years before I picked it up between Winters Heart and Crossroads of Twilight. I like a good epic and at the time had been trudging through the Eternal Champion books, when I finished The Eye of the World I abandoned ship gleefully. I've read and enjoyed others such as Brooks' Shannara, the Eddings' stories about Belgarath, Herbert's Dune and several others. The Wheel of Time is surely my most favorite of them all though. My screen name originates from one of my SWG characters Darkvothe Al'Thade, a combinatoion of my original SWG character Darcon Thade, Rothfuss' Kvothe and of course the Al' prefix from RJ's TWOT.
