1         I am a student of music and philosophy.

1.1      My favourite philosopher is Ludwig Wittgenstein, the Austrian predominant philosopher of the 20th century.

1.11    My second favourite philosopher is W. V. O. Quine, my namesake.

1.12    I believe in truth relative to the world that is the case.

1.2      My favourite composer is Maurice Ravel.

1.21    I perform Ravel's music as a pianist.

1.211  I have performed all of Ravel's water-oriented programmatic works: Jeux d'eau, Ondine from Gaspard de la nuit and Une barque sur l'océan from Miroirs.

1.22    I don't like Debussy's music.

1.221  Debussy's sensual music relies on the instinctive, natural reaction to the feeling of the moment. It pays less attention to the gentle sophistication and refinery of French music.

2         I have a hobby as a writer.

2.1      I have written some unpublished Wheel of Time fanfiction.

2.11    Most of it's about post-AMoL events.

2.111  I consider myself to be inadequate at portraying ready-made characters and therefore writing fanfiction.

2.2      I write short stories in my spare time.

2.3      I am currently working on a novel I began on 2nd November 2014.

2.31    My novel is at its first draft. The word count is approximately 200,000 words.

2.32    It is a literary bildungsroman with elements of tragedy.

2.321  It could be said that it is a literary bildungsroman based on the effects of tragedy.
