The Gathering Storm, the twelfth book in the Wheel of Time series, debuted at the number one spot on the prestigious New York Times bestseller list. This is the fifth WoT novel to hold the spot, and the first time that author Brandon Sanderson has been there. Gathering Storm's appearance on the list ended a six or seven week reign that Dan Brown's The Lost Symbol had been holding onto.   Congratulations to Brandon Sanderson and "Team Jordan" for this outstanding effort and accomplishment. As it happened, the majority of us had finished the book by then (courtesy of the snowstorm canceling school and work for three days), or were

Celebrating RJ, celebrating fans

Harriet described this morning in her hometown of Charleston as "a gorgeous day outside, a terribly sad one inside."   It never ceases to amaze me at the amount of influence RJ had on all of us. Whether you're a long-time fan of the series who visits all of the WoT websites, or a casual fan who has enjoyed his books over the years, think we can all agree that there was something incredibly special about the man. He loved his fan
