I spent my whole weekend backing up my laptop and I took a great amount of glee in wiping Windows off of it and putting Linux on it. I'm sure only geeks like me could take pleasure in the dumping of an OS, or maybe it's the taint. Either way, my house is now Windows free. Oh and thanks Windows for telling me that my battery is FUBAR. Not. What's the use in telling me that my battery is "fully charged" and failing to tell me that fully charged means only 30% of it's operating capacity? Flaming useless.

I've noticed alot of poeple on DM are from england and i was looking at my itinerary for this trip i'm taking in a couple weeks and i have a 5 hour layover in London. i have no idea so i thought i'd ask you guys, does that give me enough time to go and do anything there( eat,shop, or whatever), ive never been in london and have no idea how hard or how fast you can get around over there.

I was watching the grammys tonight and was like...Whoa! I know that dude! (It was one of the dancers for Usher/Justin Beiber's performance) Now I'm all depressed cause I'm like "That could have been me..." Now I know like 10 people (3 that were my buddies) that are dancers for famous musicians...The 3 that were my buddies are dancing with Brittany Spears. I feel all depressed now because I'm just barely not good enough to be going & doing that stuff with them *sigh* (mostly because of past injuries). Oh well..You win some, and you lose some.

i was thinking about the BL and kinda how it plays into the WOT(not the series but the wheel itsself). . . i don't claim to know much about the WOT (series)and i've listened to the books from purely of story lovers perspective. but if the story takes place in the 3rd age and the wheel turns repeating ages and ages then do you thnk this is the first time a BT came into the wieve? or did the dark one always taint the OP when imprisoned thus always giving place for there to be a BT? i don't think so, i think this is the first time but as i said i don't really know too much and haven't thought along these lines before so i thought i'd see what my fellow black jackets think o…

Yesterday was my birthday and I scored some stuff I've been wanting for ages. The extended edition of Lord of the Rings, Brandon Sanderson's new book and a CD I've been wanting. That will probably be enough to keep me busy till Patrick Rothfuss' next book comes out. This means I shall have to plan a LotR marathon some time in the next week.
