No, we will not be betting money. Here is the place where you can challenge other DM sports fans to put their money where their mouth is. I am kicking things off... I am calling out those die hard Saints fans. Can you REALLY beat the Cardinals... or are you just all talk? I mean we all know Warner is a better QB....

So I dont care if this thread goes straight to internet purgatory, but I'm just CHUFFED that my home team the Central Coast Mariners thrashed last years champions Melbourne Victory 4-0 away last night. Awesome performance. PS I LOATHE Archie Thompson. Over-rated hack. Same goes for Mrdja, so you know I'm not biased.

I know on my other thread I've been hamming it up a bit about the games for my kid. What I'd like to do is get parents views of what they let their kids play. Believe it or not, I do want to keep him as mentaly balanced as possible while still having a nutcase for a father.

http://www.animusic.com/ My kids think this is awesome and it doesn't annoy the hell out of me, even after a bajillion times watching it. It's computer animated music with oddball virtual instruments. Things like machines that shoot balls that bounce off strings/chimes/drums to make the music. It has a nice mix of songs that set the kids dancing and ones that mellow them out. I'd much rather watch something like this than most Disney or Nick Jr shows, so figured I'd pass it on. Not just for kids as my brother was the one who introduced us to it. :)

I just beat Soy in the last one when he picked the Eagles to win over the Raiders... how silly was that choice btw... I am starting up a new one. If you are interested you must have your picks in by the first game each week (could be Thur if there are Thursday games). Since we are mid season there is a twist.... you can only choose the matchups I list. I will post the games tomorrow once the odds are up.

Okay I don't know if Lost Planet 2 is just for 360 but this is where I saw it. They have a preview trailer of Lost Planet 2 which features Marcus Fenix from Gears of War lore. This video can be found in the Capcom announcement section on your 360 Dashboard. I'll look for more information on this.

Variety says: … through its first four hours (including a two-hour premiere), "Caprica" exhibits more than enough promise to justify the mission … Entertainment Weekly gives it an “A-minus” and says: … Less action-packed than BSG, but still awash in the familiar themes of life, loss, identity, and big frakkin' robots with guns. … USA Today says: … Clarity was never a Battlestar strong point, but the writers now seem to have adopted incomprehensibility as a virtue. It isn't. Again, if you loved all things Battlestar beyond measure, Caprica may satisfy. For all others, this is a planet best left unvisited. … The New York Times sa…

Remember those old school adventure games like Myst, Riven sequel to Myst, Indigo Prophecies Farenhiet? well, thats what this game is; Only its Next Gen, not only in terms of Graphics but in gameplay. This game is about several characters, who are all after the 'origami' killer.. At least in there own fashions. I'm not even sure if they all know they are going after the said killer. But what makes this game basically different from all others is quite simply, its like an interactive Movie. You know those people who yell out in a theater 'WATCH OUT!', or you tell yoru self during a movie you've seen a houndred times 'don't open that door!' Well, in this game, no…
