I'm old. I only watch the History channel. Or, HGTV if my wife is here. :( Don't know squat about most modern TV. Still laugh at "The Beverly Hillbillies" reruns...Ellie Mae hasn't aged a day!!! Did finally see "The Golden Compass" on pay-per-view...OK...glad I didn't waste full price at the theater...popcorn was cheaper at home...reclining seat was nice, too. ;D Just checking out sites other than Fiddlesticks. Thought I'd say "HI"... HI!!! :)

The week GTA IV came out, I gave a friend who works at walmart, $$ to pick me up GTA IV with their employee discount. (FYI, you still pay full price, they basically just don't have to pay taxes!) I then patiently waited about 2 days before I could lay my hands on. I fired up my PS3 and greased a few gears and sprockets, and like most everyone, was entranced by the games graphics, gameplay, and best of all, driving 90 mph into a tree and flying out of the windshield. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has confirmed to Sci-Fi Wire that the upcoming "The First Avenger: Captain America" will be a World War II period piece. Feige says the film, scheduled for release in May 6th 2011, will serve to set up the eventual "Avengers" movie to be released six weeks later on July 1st. He also dismissed the recent Matthew McConaughey casting talk, but did confirm the object glimpsed in Tony Stark's workshop in "Iron Man" is part of the character's shield. What did you think of this season? I still haven't seen the last hour yet, so not sure who won but my bets are on Amanda. I do not usually watch this show. I think I watched most of the first season and bits and pieces of others, but due to the strike I had nothing else to watch.

Chris Cornell came up in my American Idol Sucks recap ( ::)gratuitous plug ::)) and I got into a debate with some friends about weather Cornell was relevant or not. Then it led to Soundgarden vs Audioslave and what have you......* Anyway,long story short, we got talking about Bond Themes. I feel that Chris Cornell's "You Know My Name" is the best James Bond opening theme around. Not sure if anyone's seen this but, seriously: The geekiest thing ever? Sadly, the price is a bit steep. £2K! I'd expect it to actually project images into mid-air for that amount! :)

I don't know if any game has done that before. God, I'm so looking forward to this game. I'm gonna have to wait 'till early June though. I can't risk getting hooked on GTA when exams are coming up.
