Scott had originally tried to get a follow-up made in 2003, before abandoning the idea, but things are now back on track. "I will probably do a sequel to Gladiator," said Scott "The only problem is Russell Crowe was such a powerful presence and, of course, Maximus dies at the end. The SCI FI Channel has announced they will not renew the series STARGATE SG-1 for another season. They did announce though they will pick up its spinoff series STARGATE ATLANTIS for a fourth year. Sorry if this is a repeat post or anything; I skimmed the board history and didn't find anything. So, any House fans in the ... house? (Sorry) Chris and I are both avid watchers. Due to his show conflicting with the second half of season 2 we've been catching missed episodes over the summer and I have to say it's gotten even better as time goes by. The lines, oh the lines. What are your favorite Houseisms? That's what got me hooked on the show in the first place. And then, the cast is all beautiful people so there's some eye candy too, but that's a distant third to the scriptwriting and Hugh Laurie's acting.

The executive producer of BATTLESTAR GALACTICA, David Eick, sat down with Now Playing Magazine to talk about the upcoming third season of the show.
