Well, instead of personalized quizzes as we had before, this one is open to the whole of DM. PM your responses to me. This is open until the end of the first week of January. My time, not yours. There are 15 questions. The person who gets the most right will win 13 points. The runnerup will get 12, and the person in third will get none, as will the rest of you. If there is a tie points will be split. I betcha Moir will win. :P Quiz: First section: Multiple Choice Questions 1) A fully-loaded bus crashes into a car parked in the middle of the road. What happens to the velocity of the centre of mass of the bus and the car, disregarding friction? …

I checked on the ranking page and I am not there anymore. Is it because I have not been on as much as before? Am I even still part of Shayul Ghul any more? Will I have to start over again as a lightfool?

December 20-January 3rd. I will have limited access to a pc so I don't expect to be here much at all. I'll be busy getting all of our Christmas affairs in order, going to various family Christmas Parties, and then from the 28-2nd we'll be travelling a few hours downstate to visit with other relatives. Ugh, I feel tired already. Happy Holidays, everyone! :D

So after hearing that Brandon Sanderson is finishing the WoT series, I went out and got one of his books. He apparently lives semi local to me, maybe a 1 hour drive away. So in my search for one of his books, I found an autographed copy of Mistborn. And I read it. And I am happy to say that I really enjoyed his book. It put my fears to ease. He doesn't go into as much descriptive details, but he had an interesting array of characters, and a nicely paced story line. I was wondering if anyone else here as read any of his stuff also?

Yes, that is right, Moir giving points! 15 in fact! *gasps* All you have to do is solve this simple thought problem I need ya'll to run. Let's say you have a small wooden block. I want you to tell me how you would find the mass of this object without actually 'massing' it. That means no scales, balances, etc. Shoot.
