  1. I would like to post for myself and other Sword Commanders and ask that the Aes Sedai help us out in getting existing Warders into the Warders forum to check on the many Discipline posts there. We are also asking for those interested in the warders to come visit us. We have some new and exciting stuff and invite you to participate. Participation in the Guild and Ajahs only makes our Org stronger. Thanks and Happy Holidays.

  2. Everyone is welcome to come and pick out an image or two or... how many you would like to do and paint/color them. *G* If you have children, you are welcomed to print them *G* http://forums.dragonmount.com/index.php/topic,24335.new.html#new

During a visit to the mental asylum, a visitor asked the Director, "how do you determine whether or not a patient should be institutionalized/" "Well," said the Director, "we fill up a bathtub, then we offer a teaspoon, a teacup and a bucket to the patient and ask him or her to empty the bathtub." "Oh, I understand," said the visitor. "A normal person would use the bucket because it's bigger than the spoon or the teacup." No." said the Director, "A normal person would pull the plug. Do you want a bed near the window?" So who's for the bed next to mine??

Joni's CafePress Store I made bunches of Christmas Cards designs! I have some new things call Color Me Cards for kids, to use their own markers on and give to their family. Also, new designs that I worked on for the last week. Take a look.

Did you know that if shop mannequins were real women they'd be too thin to have babies? There are 3 billion women who don't look like supermodels and only eight who do. Marilyn Monroe wore a size 14. If Barbie was a real woman, she'd have to walk on all fours due to her proportions. The average woman weighs 144 lbs and wears between a 12-14. One out of every four college aged women has an eating disorder. The models in the magazines are airbrushed - not perfect! A psychological study in 1995 found that three minutes spent looking at a fashion magazine caused 70% of women to feel depressed, guilty, and shameful. Models twenty years…

http://news.ninemsn.com.au/article.aspx?id=329302&rss=yes Yeah, you could end up with a bunch of fat fan boys kneeling on your lawn. At least the burnt offerings probably cover up the stench. Seriously, if I catch any of you on Harriet's front lawn swinging a censor and burning incense, I'm disowning this entire fandom.

  13. You arrive in Tar Valon late at night. You rode as hard as you could after receiving a message from the White Tower telling you to return from your far off journeys. Apparently, all Aes Sedai were called into the Tower for some unknown reason. It seemed strange to not have an reason, but all Aes Sedai were like that. Only giving you the information they want you to know. You get closer and notice something wrong. There are few people coming out of, or going into the Tower. Usually the stairs bustled with people. Getting closer to the Tower doors, you see people look at you and run. Horror crossed their face. You enter the wide wooden doors to the Shining White Tower, just…

Amazon has released the Kindle today, an electronic book reader that's supposed to do for e-books what the iPod did for music downloads. You can read about it here: http://www.newsweek.com/id/70983 I have to admit, I'm intrigued by e-books. I haven't purchased many (just the WoT sample chapters), but that's mainly because I'd have to read them on my laptop. I'm not sure if a device can replace the tactile experience of reading though. It sounds like they are trying though. So if the $400 purchase price wasn't an issue for you, would you buy one?

That's right! I'm thinking of buying something in the US, since it's way cheaper than where I live. I want your advice! Where should I buy? Keep in mind that: 1) I hate summer 2) I would like to have a "holiday home"/rental property, and I would like it to be in a place that isn't like where I live already ;p i.e. I would like some snow, some mountains, maybe some grass that isn't brown...etc. ;p 3) I don't need to live by the beach, as where I am now I live 10 mins drive from it :) 4) I would prefer a SAFE neighbourhood (that goes without saying I suppose) 5) I saw a house on sale that had 6 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms...woah!! But anything with say 2-3 …

I'm trying to figure out what overall title I would like to give the trilogy I am working on. It is about a princess who ends up having to overthrow the queen because of multiple events that send her country and a neighboring enemy country into near chaos. Right now I have the individual book titles as Book One: Night of Fate Book Two: Night of Love Book Three: Night of Fear The "Night of..." comes from how the prologue and epilogue from each book consist of a grandfather telling his grandson the story of Rose and everything that happened during her time.

I am updating mine and it just occurred to me that listing the charities I fork out my hard-earned cash to might be a good idea. :) I'm not sure if it's the done thing though. That's all :) Taya

So I teach at a private school now, right? It's for kids with learning disabilities and behavior disorders. We have a VERY structured reward program, based on teaching them job skills. Each kid carries a planner with them to every class. In the planner, I put their "contracting", i.e. the week's assignments. If they complete their work to my satisfaction, and follow other vocational skills like dressing appropriately, interacting courtesly, etc. I "pay" them and record it in their planners. If they don't do it, I can deduct them. If they go above and beyond, I can give them a bonus. Each afternoon, they go to homeroom and we help them add up their pay and record it in a…

Like they say looks can be deceiving and man you are really deceiving. you have the ability to lie through your teeth and get away with it. Your cute and sweet, and you force everyone to love you. Because if they don't they get a taste of your blade if you don't get your way.

In the states we have a station called NBC and they have a Green is Universal campaign this week. There is even a website for it HERE. There is information on how to help save our planet by going green. I just thought since I am a Green Sister here I had to share our plans with you. We are planning on universal domination. We are not happy with just taking over the world. *evil laugh*

My great grandparents were farmers in rural Virginia. When my dad was a kid, he'd go visit them on holidays. Apparently, Grandpa Hoover raised turkeys on his farm. My dad used to tell me that when he'd visit, his job on the farm was to catch the young turkeys and insert the little pop up button that tells you they are done. According my dad, this had to be done when the turkeys were still young and tender. I believed this until I was ten. What blatant lies have your parents tried to foist off on you?
