  12. WOT Guess Who Game Hello! I'm Nynaeve and I'll guide you here. We gathered here to do some work. For some reason it's called a game. Nonsence! We have a serious problem here. Our Eyes-and-ears got really carried away by ciphering their reports. So now we have their reports about people spotted in different places but don't know who is who! So I have a chart. And you'll get pictures. Your purpose is to recognise who is at the picture. The rules: 1. First person names the square (eg. 1F, 5B etc) 2. Everybody else writes their guesses. Only one guess per person before anybody else guesses. 3. A person whose guess is right gets 2 points and names the next square…

  14. GRAY THANKSGIVING THANKSGIVING DISCUSSION ORIGIN OF THANKSGIVING I was taught that the indians saved the settlers lives during their first summer in America, by teaching them how to grow corn and fish amongst other things. Then, when the settlers had their first harvest they invited the indians to a feast with all sorts of foods to thank them for helping them out. Now what I don't understand is why it went from peacefulness and friendship to war and hatred, in under a year? When was the true "first" Thanksgiving? What really happened the "first" Thanksgiving? So why did the government cover up what really happened during the "first" Thank…

Welcome to our game, nice to see you all! The rules are simple: just say which of the two options you would rather, then post the two options for the next person. You can explain your choices if you would like, but you don't have to! I'll get us started: Would you rather have no turkey or no pumpkin pie at Thanksgiving dinner?

  18. GRAY THANKSGIVING THANKSGIVING TABLE So here I am going to post the foods that are to be believed to have been eaten during the "first" Thanksgiving in America. After that I would appreciate it if people would post foods that they are having for their Thanksgiving meal, past Thanksgiving meals (if you have pics that would be great but if not you could always just post what you have made ), and any traditional ethnic meals that they have had. Thank you MEATS FISH LOBSTER DUCK VENISON

  20. More than just brightening up your day, sharing a good laugh can actually improve your health. The sound of laughter draws people together in ways that trigger healthy physical and emotional changes in the body. Laughter can reduce stress, anxiety, and depression, strengthen your immune system, and diminish pain. As children, we used to laugh hundreds of times a day, but as adults life tends to be more serious and laughter more infrequent. By seeking out more opportunities for humor and laughter, though, you can improve your emotional health, strengthen your relationships, find greater happiness—and even add years to your life. What you can do Share funny moments—eve…

First off.. you may be wondering..what is a meme?? Technically, the definition is "an element of a culture or system of behavior that may be considered to be passed from one individual to another by nongenetic means, especially imitation. Often a humorous image, video, piece of text, etc. that is copied (often with slight variations) and spread rapidly by Internet users." Early forms of this before it became such a huge phenomenon was "I can haz cheezburger" .. which was pictures of pets (usually cats - what a surprise!) with hilarious captions. Then it transformed into what we call a "meme". But in case you're not sure.... Here are some meme's about what m…

PIE WALK! Here's how this works. Pick a number between one and twenty. The closest number wins! Just PM me your number. First up is this apple pie. Since we can't send you a virtual pie, the winner will get his/her own siggy at the end. I'll keep this up for about 24 hours, then announce the winner, and put up a new pie.

Fall has arrived for many people living in the northern hemisphere, and with it comes the beginning of the festive season. Days of thanks-giving and feasting, parades and processions of often obscure symbolism, and even ominous and dark festivals such as "Halloween" characterise the season, with many fascinating beliefs besides regarding the changes of the seasons seen, from animal behaviour to the falling of leaves. Though many are celebrated as an enjoyable day to take off work and get together with family, in traditional agrarian communities, these festivals are centred around the collection of the harvest, an event that often brings much of the community together to c…
