Hi there, everybody. My name is Matthías Páll Gissurarson, and I finally decided to join the forums. I read WoT for the first time about 5 years ago and loved it! But, as Iceland is a small country, it wasn't until last year that I really met someone else that had read the WoT cycle (most people that I talked to about it gave up aroun LoC). In anticipation of the ToM, I started looking around for a Synopsis of the books, and so it was that I found the WoTFAQ, first in the old location, and then at it's current place here on DM. This was maybe not THE beginning, but it was A beginning. I love the theories that have sprung up about things I often wondered about myself, …

Hi everyone! I've been a fan of the WoT series for very long time. I've started to read the series around 1996 - and I immediately was hooked, and re-read the series dozens of times ever since. I'm usually not one who registers to sites and forums, but I decided that I'll give it a try, especially since I have some questions that I really want answers to. Well folks – see you around!

I've been wanting to join for a while, and I finally took the time to make an account! The series first grabbed me in 1996 and from book-signings to roaming bookstores constantly for new softcover copies once they're inevitably damaged by my perpetual reading, its been an addiction since page 10 of EofW! I've re-read ToM 3 times since purchasing and I'm so excited to be a part of the forums...See you around!

Hello everyone, I have been reading the WoT since 1993 with the first book I read being The Shadow Rising. Since then I have read each book in the series, including the ToM. I have lurked about dragonmount.com from around 2008, when a fiend introduced it to me. I have enjoyed reading some of the threads (was astounded most of the times, and even lmao a couple of times). I have only read the threads and the news on dragonmount, but I never knew about the RPG and other stuff. It seems sad to me to realize that there is only one more book left in the WoT. I can only hope that Brandon will be given the permission to write some prequels and sequels. The Troll…

I started reading WoT when I was twelve years old. A woman I was going to babysit for said "My husband loved this book, would you like it?" and I said "sure!". I've just realized that next year when I will turn 24 I will have been reading the series for HALF OF MY ENTIRE LIFE! So I decided to join one of these website thingies and tell everyone all about it.

The title says, well... most of it. This is an introduction. I've been reading the Wheel of Time for about seven years now, and speculating/theorizing for just about as long. I was a member of Dragonmount several years ago, but what with the end of high school and starting university and such, I didn't get to post much... and in the intervening time, the system seems to have misplaced my login. So I'm back! Treat me like a newbie and we'll get on just fine. Questions, comments, theories welcome (also, the forums seem to have grown since I was last here... so directions are cool too :)

Hey folks, I'll be honest, I posted down in the RP section first :P Some of the following is copied from my post there, with additions. So, i've decided to go by the name Auctionhouse here on DM, though my real name's Jared and i'm a university student in Ontario, Canada. I've been forum-based roleplaying for about eight years now across nearly every genre, though in the past year I haven't done very much with my experience due to school and video games. I've been an avid fan of Robert Jordan for a long time, and first fell in love with his writing NOT from the WoT series, but rather from his collections of Conan the Barbarian stories. Of course, I've spurned thos…

Hellos:) i just found this site last night after finishing Towers of Midnight.. and was so unhappy i couldn't read any further.. so i started browsing the net and found this site.. which gave me plenty to read and enjoy, for which you have my greatest thanks:D im originally from Bulgaria.. and started reading " the wheel of time" when i was in early high school. they give us a monthly scholarship there.. for having good grades.. so i used to save my scholarship money( pitiful amounts that took months to pile up to the sale price of a book) and buy the books. fortunately for me.. most of them were already out:D so i didn't have to wait too long to find out what happens ne…

I've been following The Wheel of Time since 1994 when I bought the first paperback of TEOTW. Been hooked ever since. I've lurked off and on here at DM since about 1998 or '99...think this is my 3rd incarnation here as I've registered here a couple times in the past...but never posted much so my accounts always ended up disappearing. Thought I'd give it another shot.

Hi, everyone. I just joined and look forward to getting to know all of you. Also, I tried to register a few hours ago and still haven't gotten the validation e-mail on that account. If anyone could point me to the correct board for reporting the issue I'd be very thankful.

Hello All, This is Kalyani Al'Arinelle.. I am from India and Kalyani is my actual name.. I thought it already sounds like a wheel of time name and to go with it.. Forgive me for this long and rambling post down here, but I wanted to share everything with you, so that you can decide whether I belong here or not.. I first heard of wheel of time in 2005 and since knife of dreams is available, I read all 11 books at a stretch in 3 months.. These books are so compelling that I had to finish them off before I could even spare time to talk to my husband.. It helped that he started reading them with me and became as obsessed as I was.. .. Once I finished the 11th book, I…

Hello people! I'm a very...and I mean VERY recent fan of the Wheel of Time series. Its probably been less than 2 months since I discovered the series. And boy did it made me loose my sleep during that time! I'd finished TGS barely a few days ago. And ToM came out just a few days later. Safe to say I'm on a roll here. Though I'm a planning a detailed re-reading later on! Anyways, I just finished ToM today and finally had to come to a place to discuss all that hapenned...so here I am. Hoping to have a nice time here at Dragonmount.

Hello all. I can't say I'm a long time WoT fan as I've only started reading them since July 2010 after my friend Johnny, may he live forever, insisted that I read them. I'm a huuuuuuuge fan now. I'm at the end of TGS at the moment, I will start ToM tomorrow. Just wanted to say hi and that I look forward to discussing stuff with you people.

Greetings and salutations, I'm a long time WoT fan, been reading them for a little over 10 years now and every so often(usually near the release date of a new book) I keep rereading the series to refamiliarize myself with exactly what was going on. I first heard of this group when I saw the parade at Dragoncon 2009. My wife and I have been thinking of doing WoT costuming for quite some time now and that was a really nice sight. So here's hoping to be an active part of the community!

Hi all, I am new (member)here but have been visiting the site for a few years. I am currently reading Towers of Midnight and I have a question. I am early in the book and it seems that Tam is in two locations at once. Rand just arrived back in Tear and went to hug his father, but Tam is also present with Perrin in his camp. Can anyone fill me in without spoilers? thanks DKA
