One of the conditions of him coming back to WWE was that he wanted to do a really bad segment, like the worst one of all time. And in the last few weeks, he has. Twice.

whatever he does... he shouldn't take any more injuries. he's a dead man if he does.

In a few freak instances. Most of the deaths you may be thinking of are usually drug-related, which is not a direct result of pro wrestling, but rather a matter of how one chooses to deal with the direct results of pro wrestling.

 

Keep in mind that Foley is not typical of pro wrestlers, in that outside of hardcore (which can barely even be called wrestling), performers do not typically have to endure things such as sixteen foot falls through wooden tables.

i'm thinking of the years of life stolen from some of the most battered men in any industry, and yes, the effects of drugs and steroids, and the cumulative effects of an unregulated game for the smart marks, who could afford to support some safety measures. not all deaths are dramatic and instantaneous. these men have short, painful lives.
