It IS the guy from Knights tale, that Much I know... It looks like it takes place sometime between 1600 and 1800s..

The guy in the upper right hand corner, looks like some kinda revolutionary figure..

 

As to 'when' it takes place, and 'whats' it about I don't know... For all I know it could be a hamlet or a romeo and juliet dirivitive.

Right, he was the villian in A Knight's Tale.

Is that Dangerous Beauty? I only remember it because when I saw it, I was young and there was a sex scene in it. ;D

 

Oh, and they used poetry to offend each other, which I thought was weird when I saw it.

Ummm, yeah, sort of.  It's a period piece.  WHich usually equals chick flick. It's based on a real courtesan (prostitute)/poetess, Veronica Franco, in 15th century Venice. 

that would be heat one of the best cop movies ever made :)

Nice one, Cads! That's "Life as a House". Great little movie. It demonstrates that Hayden Christiansen is actually capable of acting. AND, the opening credits feature a song from one of my favorite bands: Guster!
