Anyone read the article about how it is getting released in three parts? They better not all be ten bucks or I'll be mad. I'll still buy them but I'll be mad.

Read Brandon's blog about it, its actually entirely reasonable, them splitting it.

I'm disappointed that they are going to spread it out over two more years, after we have all waited so long already, but if them making it into three volumes is going to give me a better quality, more in depth book, then I'm all for it.

Each side has its pros and cons. I would like to see one or two books personally

Seriously, I can handle 2 books.  I'm not for 3 though.  And the books should be released within a few months (6 at the most), not 1 year of each other.

But I really was looking forward to reading a 2,000+ page book by itself. :P

That would be like a 5 pound book. And yes, six months would be reasonable since we can assume that everyone is going to read all three releases as soon as possible and two years would be way too long.

I just hope we can hurry and get something to read.  :-\

Or just google Brandon Sandersons blog. The first one apparently is coming out November 3. The next two installments one year after the other.

It's not so bad.  They'll be normal WoT-sized books.  Plus, it will give us time to think up crazy theories and post them here (as all our current crazy theories will be trashed by the Prologue).

Ya, I still have to finish crossroads of twilight and the next one before I start lurking on the general WoT discussion boards. Don't want no spoilers!

Hahaha, yeah, I was hoping for a big assed book myself, but reading Sanderson's blog helped me realize the whole situation much more.

I've gotta re-read this summer too though Pol, I don't remember much at all. Been 4 years since I last read WoT.

I think 4? Maybe 3.

same here. 3-5 years since i last read the books, but I've read soooo many other series in between them that everything's kinda fuzzy :-\
