I was surprised when it won an award for Best Animated Family Movie of the year, when Cars came out that same year.

 

Cars was so much better.  I HATE Happy Feet.

My older sister took her 8 year old son to it, and wanted (and got) her money back. 

It was awful.

 

I was surprised at the songs they chose to use, how stupid the plot was, and that Robin Williams actually didn't pull it off.  He actually failed at being funny, for once.

 

I also don't like Elijah Wood, so that could've been an issue for me.

 

But yeah, the music they picked made me uncomfortable.  And one of the songs in the end credits is called "Hit Me Up."

Yeah, she told me it was very sexual.  Not a children movie at all.  Disturbing, she called it.

That's why I didn't get that it won an award for a Family Movie. Shows how screwed up the world is.

I watched the AMA's once.

 

It was boring.

 

The Tonys are great, though.

The last one I saw was the Sean Connery thing.

And... I don't know what you're talking about but you had me at Sean Connery.

It was like...a big tribute thing.  Did a lot of James Bond clips.
