What I don't get is this:

 

Is there logically a good reason for me to play a computer game?

No, I am fed up with my internet connection/Dragonmount.  My internet's not that great, but no other website is reacting this badly to it.

 

I get the connection between my browser and DM dropped very frequently, and it takes me minutes to post sometimes, instead of seconds.  I don't know why.

 

Facebook's fine.

 

Windows Live Messenger is fine.

 

LiveJournal is fine.

 

DM is not.

I think DM is overloaded, it's a big website with a lot of graphics. Could be something else though.

In your settings you could try and get sigs disabled, it may help with the loading.

 

I find here on holiday it can really slow up, but all of the internet slows. I get it at work too.

That's happened to me before too meesh.  Usually when there's like 90 people on DM.

Eh, it's possible that's the issue.

 

I didn't really think about that.

Since when DM had a power cut at its main servers, mine is slow and very often says "no connection" are "too many connections" and won't load up the forums.

Maybe I'm having the same problem.

It's darn irritating, that's all I know.

My most common problem is it says 'Can't connect to database'.

 

It loads the header bar but nothing else then.

I've only really got "Network has timed out".

Mine says "Connection has timed out."

 

I only get irritated because it happens SO OFTEN.  Literally at least once every 5 minutes.  At least.

I had a period two weeks ago where it did it almost constantly like with you.

It's very frustrating, isn't it?
