I said the other side, not the other end. Also if I break a wooden broomstick in half, each end tends to be rather pointy.

I don't know how it is that your second head can biologically be considered your cousin, but I'm probably better off for that.

I'm not crazy enough to have a second head installed, or a third arm, for that matter.

Forget what the movie said, he didn't have the second head installed, it was always there. The arm, yeah, that was new, but the head was all Zaphod, baby, all Zaphod!

You forget that I've never seen the movie.

 

I assumed he had the second head installed from this quote:

"He only had the two arms and the one head and he called himself Phil, but..."

 

Probably misinterpretation, but there you go.

Yeah, four books later Adams explained that by saying he was wearing a sheeted birdcage over the second head and pretending to be a pirate.
