Ignoring the presence of thousands of posts on this forum alone that stand as evidence against the second assertion, the first one is also suspect due to lack of effort on your part. I saw on television a while ago where a girl lay in bed for four months with braces on her legs that slowly were extended so the bone and muscle would stretch and grow in so that she could add an inch to her height.
