im not precisely sure, but I think that it is when two people decide to look after one another or some such.

 

I think it is just a perk for you siggie mostly, but hey, I could be totally off base here.

    I don't know about BT bonds specifically, but in general, what it means when you bond someone, or are bonded to them, is that you feel a sort of connection with that person, and they with you.  Whether you become super-close friends with someone, or feel like brother or sister, or even love interests (it happens sometimes, on DM :D).  If you want to "formalize" the bond you feel, different Orgs have different ceremonies and the like for that.  Then, when you're done going through that, you're formally bonded.  And everyone knows it! :D

     

    It's not a bad thing at all, promise. :D
