Of course, because I've been in a big Tragically Hip mood I read terrible terrible news about my favorite Canadian. Gord Downie, lead singer for the tragically hip, has been diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. So, I've been rockin out to them for the past few days. Light be with you Mr. Downie. I hope you can fight this off. Somehow. Oh, and I was at this Woodstock, in this crowd. Somewhere. lol I remember being near the smiley faces though ;)

Sal is unerringly upbeat, rarely the slightest bit negative and it's not surprising really, considering his dad over the past 40 years. Since he took my friend Alex Nester on to sing the lyrics he doesn't or can't rap his band has really come into its own. This time last year they were doing an east coast tour with Carlos, playing for tens of thousands.
