ok.... the first sound is like the s in measure.... we'll call it a j

Really quick, before I go to bed for real, the way I've seen that sound written for pronunciation is "zh." I mean, that's not strictly latinizing it or anything, but I think it's pretty much the accepted way to let people know to make that sound. :laugh:

the first letter in this one is like the ch in "Bach" (any ideas Meesh?)--I'll keep it as an x for now

 

хорошии - xoroshiy - good

 

and if you want to say you're doing well or something is doing well you use this one

 

хорошо - xorosho -well
