hullo Ayla. that will be interesting. we have a lot of comers and goers so I'm not sure the numbers will speak to the reality... and we do better, if better is what it is, with cheer leading, which is hit or miss. but well see if the math trumps the anthro and psych and pure randomness.

it may. I don't math.

I may have got distracted >.>

Um. 13525ish posts in the last month. At that rate, it should take 5.2 more months to get to 100,000. That puts us at somewhere near the end of May...

ok, random question.

why do you/we keep coming here when nothing goes on for long spans of time?

i'm talking about people who don't just use it as a waygate to other chatrooms and such, epople that just come here.

why do we keep refreshing the page hoping something happens? do we get tired of pressing the lever after a while? will the behavior extinct itself or is the variable intermittent reward of posts enough to maintain it?

interesting, thank you.

Because this is the BT and there is always a slight chance that somebody will randomly post :)

We get tired of pressing not because we think there will be no posts, but because we have got to the point that we don't care if there are new posts any longer.

I don't think we'll stop any time soon :)

But that is just what I think and do. Maybe.

i still care, it's the only reason i press the buttons. but it gets painful after a while. but i keep doing it so far. i know it's stupid.
