I know. We all know. But normally we wear more cloths. I also have to say that it's not that worse on a mountain. I think it was maybe 5 to 10 C, and the sun was shining, so it wasn't really cold. I think it was something like 25 degrees Celsius 1200 meters lower, where we came from.

Ah, ok :) I'm one of those annoying people who starts complaining about the cold as soon as the sun so much as goes behind a cloud...

I'm very bundled up today. Knee high socks and boots, pants, long sleeve shirt and thick sweater. Still slightly chilly.

It's still on the warm side for this time of year here.

That's one of the few things I miss about living down south.

So I'm planning a 5 day mini vacation in December. Any suggestions of where I should go? Needs to be in the States since I don't have enough travel days to really go elsewhere. All East coast is out as well as Hawaii, Indiana and Illinois.

In December I'd go someplace warm. Go South young woman!

have a garage but don't use it unless it's going to snow more than a foot. too hard to open the door. i run the car till the ice scrapes easy.

 

have to make sure you have the heater turned off for the last 10 minutes of driving in snow, so it doesn't melt and freeze hard.
