Mine did that too. It had been left unattended and turned off for a while. I had to use the on screen keyboard.

 

Once it had warmed up it started working ok again.

 

 

But last time I'd left it turned off for too long and it never got better.

 

Now it's dead.

 

You could try hoovering around the keys in case it's caused by debris.

 

Mine was damp.
