Mine once broke because of water, but after a few days it fixed itself.

 

Used a different keyboard in the meanwhile.

Yeah having it turned on and used made mine got hot. That dried it out and fixed it.

 

It had been turned off for months last time though so it couldn't be resurrected.

Well, I finished chapter 12 of Winter's Heart.

I'll give Jordan this: if he'd been a horror author he could have written some of the most effective romance scenes on the market.

I'm sorry, winters heart and crossroads of twilight, knife of dreams and a lot of the gathering storm are boring in general. You got a long way to go

As a whole it's still been less of a drag for me than Lord of Chaos was, so far.  Maybe it's the appeal of a winter aesthetic vs endless summer.

Imo the Gathering Storm isn't boring. There's a lot of stuff happening, mostly with Rand and Egwene.
