That was horrible.

 

Yeah, it was pretty bad. I had to hug a pillow to my stomach because it felt like my guts were going to burst out of the incision every time I tried.

C-sections are more painful and harder to recover from in general. Having said that, it took almost a year for me to physically recover from my last one, and that was not a c-sec

i still hear the story about the 36 hours of labor and the saddle breach delivery of my 23" long, 9lb 8oz self. i guess the.... miracle of birth..... is variable. took mom 20 years to recover enough to have my sister after that.

I think they'll let you go 36 hours as long as the baby isn't in distress and the mother is ok. Saddle breech was not wise for them to allow. >.>

My c-section didn't hurt that much. I was up and walking around with no problems as soon as they took the foley catheter out. My only problem was what I mentioned above. xD
