ok, now i'm confused.

 

don't mean to pick on turin, but there's something i don't get here.

 

a few months ago, i asked if the hot threads for amonth had to have been started in the same month, and pretty sure you said yes, all has to be in a month in one thread. i can search tomorrow when the brain's full on.

 

but what i see for turin for november, and just november, is really not 95 points worth of hot threads.

 

i do see a lot of revived very old threads in the village that got bumped today.

 

threads that were probably already credited with hot points before ot should have been.

 

and just got a post or two to pop them up top before this tally.

 

so what i'm wondering is, can we all just do that now, bump old necro threads in the village or from the main board no matter how old, or already counted, so that we can keep recycling these things every month?

 

or is there something about this whole thing i missed?

 

i'm asking in this thread cause i don't think i'm the only person who has this question, and if i'm just way wrong, i'd like to hear that in public, too, so i can apologize in public.

I am confused as well. I only bumped them all as a "thank you" for the points they had given previously. I had jokingly told Des to do it to his as a joke or tribute.

If he necroed Threads in the Village, they wouldn't count for pointies anyways would they? Seeing as how they aren't on the main board anymore.

they shouldn't, but there doesn't appear to be anything on the mian boards for november that would have counted. so i think there was either a mistake or the rules are not what i thought.
