Yates, just pm me the next time you are coming up here and I'll see what we can do for getting together with everyone's schedules. Too bad we'll miss you this time.

We will?

He just said he'll be in Quincy or RI. Unless he can manage to sneak to here, then yes.

Yeah.  Let me talk to my 6 months pregnant wife and see if she wants drive a bit out of the way to meet up with some of my internet friends at a random bar this weekend after attending her sister's cat funeral.  Think she'll be game?

I smell a DM Mafia meet in the works.......

ChanCon?

Wait......did he say cat funeral?

So while I was in the process of mocking the whole thing, my wife reminded me of how upset I was when my dog passed away.  I had that furry little friend for 13 years and, to Nyn's point, I'd rather hike with him than just about anyone.  He was an AWESOME trail dog, super loving, and just fun company.  I really did feel like I lost a family member.  So if she feels like that about her cat?  As crazy as it seems, I'll be there to support her.

I don't disagree - my dog is 10 and I picked her out of the litter myself.  She's the coolest dog I've ever been around, and pretty bad@$$ in her prime.  Unfortunately, she doesn't have many years left, so I know I'll be sad when its time.
