So today Nelson Mandela turns 94. That's a pretty big deal, he represents a whole lot in South Africa (obviously). I was born after he became president in '94 and he had left office before I was old enough to really know anything about him, but for the older BT'ers, did the whole end of Apartheid thing make big news internationally? I've never seen Mandela, he stopped going out in public near a decade ago - he's really frail, from the hard labour in prison and then just his sheer age Otherwise I'll answer questions if people have, or google them, whatever's more appropriate...

Hey guys, so my band, Cross My Heart, needs a logo and later some album cover art, but right now I'd like to see what you guys can come up with for a general logo that we can use for everything. I will give 20 points to my favorite one, whether or not I decide to use it. My other band mates were looking at other artists, but I know you guys are way better than most artists out there, so I wanted to see what you guys could come up with first. Happy designing. The Fellowship is canoeing down a river? I get to go do that! Well not the same place as they filmed it but I am going on a canoeing trip. I thought of the reference not too long ago and have been making jokes about how we should have swords, arrows, awesome cloaks, etc. However I keep getting weird looks because of it. *sigh* So instead I thought to share my nerdiness with you guys.
