I just thought it would be cool to have a thread where we tell each other what MMOs we play, and maybe meet up in game :) I myself am only playing RuneScape right now. Yeah, it is by far no beauty compared to other MMOs, but to me it's addicting XD I've of course tried WoW, and it was okay, but it just didn't keep my interest. I also played Rift for about three or four months earlier in the year, and the same thing happened. Once I get back to my own computer though, I want to try DC Universe Online, sense it is now F2P, and I'll be buying Star Wars: TOR when I get a chance as well. Okay, so I was playing a fan-made map for Battle for Wesnoth awhile ago, and during the map this soldier named Torlic joined my army. During his time with me, he had some interesting things to say. 2012 has come! 1 am here, 12 am GMT time. It is a new year! And not just a year, but the year the last book of the Wheel of Time will be released! The book series that this full site was made about. And I just saw some really awesome fireworks.

I have done some crazy stuff when I used to role play. One time I sang to people in the harbor dressed up as Grandma Duck. Another time me and a friend was dressing up as demons when we remembered that we hadn´t eaten in a whole day. So we went to the pizzeria. so we're having, "historic flooding," which we thought we had in '72 and '96 and '06 and '07, but apprently not. but now we are. and the best advice our local authorities have for us, beyond, "prepare your medications and your pets for evacuation (which is pretty funny when you think about it)," is T.A.D.D. and i now share it with you, because it's good advice. Turn Around, Don't Drown. yup, that's it. they don't say what to do once you've turned around and found that you are now on an island watching the asphalt floating by, but still. good advice.

I thought it would be cool to have a thread talking about the things we most want to receive as gifts this holiday season. Also, it would be neat to hear some stories about unique gifts you are going to be giving to others. I'll make my what I want post later, but I'll say what my most creative present I'm giving is. For my aunt I bought one of those ceramic ornaments that need to be painted, and have places to put a families names and the year. So I painted it and put each of their names on it, which in this case are little bears with Santa hats peaking around a Christmas tree :)
